Yay! Its the weekend of another lovely week and the last week before Christmas! I hope you all had a productive week!

You guys might have seen some of these pictures on my Instagram feed or seen some pieces like the pants, shoes, and blazer, featured in some previous posts. The thing about this outfit was that I was really happy as to how it turned out. See I have a love hate relationship with ‘loose’ pants, tailored and denim. I always tell myself to always try thing on at least once before deciding to swear off them, or leave them for another time, but I am telling, the results weren’t always that flattering. I had two main problem issues, the butt and the knees. Now, anyone who has a big bum will completely understand this…the struggle I tell you. I will get to this in another post. The other issue, which I will also get into in another post, was with how my knees looked in the pant. Everyone has body parts i hey are self conscious about, but sometimes somethings are just not flattering to certain body types.

Anyways, I was very happy with how this turned out. If you notice in my November wedding post, the pants look longer than in this picture? That is because I folded the hem!!! Genius right? Haha…. Its funny how the smallest change completely changes a look. I folded it because I didn`t like the way it looked full length, and the result surprised me. Folding the hem could make below my torso look shorter, so I paired it with a pair of booties to make up for the extra inches.

So what am I wearing?! I’m wearing my favorite and only pair of loose tailored trousers…you can see why it is my favourite haha. I still love it nonetheless. I got the pants from H&M, shoes from Justfab and jacket from Uniqlo. For those that were wondering about the bag on Instagram, sorry its from a store here in Canada 🙁 I have also included the link to a similar bag in the ‘shop the look’ below, so hopefully that makes up for the disappointment 🙂 The Blazer was thrifted, but I have also included links to similar ones. This is just another way to style loose tailored pants, with a simple black top and a colourful blazer. You can completely play around with the colours of the pieces and achieve the same look, as long as they are colours each other. Styling loose tailored pants can be tricky sometimes, so I will write a post on the different ways of styling loose tailored pants. Keep your eyes peeled for it.

That is it for this week guys!! I hope you have a lovely weekend 🙂 If you’re following me on Instagram, you’ll know I’m getting a puppy. Turns out I might be getting her this week! So excited! Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram and Bloglovin’. Till next time, loads of love.
